What do Vincent Valentine, Geralt of Rivia, Maelle, Clive Rosfield, Leon Kennedy, Adam Jensen, Diana Burnwood, Aerith Gainsborough, Bayek, and Hecate have in common? Absolutely nothing.
Their voice actors, on the other hand, are about to be heard in a pretty big video game. Is it a AAA (or AAAA) game? Nope. Perhaps an AA title from a known studio. Wrong again. Developer Cygnus Cross has brought on this incredible cast for the debut game, Emberville.
What is Emberville? Emberville is an action-adventure RPG with crafting and farming mechanics and immersive, multifaceted progression. Help the citizens of Emberville rebuild their town as you rescue them from the clutches of wicked forces with the aid of a mysterious and loyal friend. Learn various crafting and combat skills as you explore the treacherous corridors of a massive, ever-changing dungeon.

We were fortunate enough to be able to preview the game. Did we enjoy it? Let’s just say that we are pretty annoyed that we need to wait another month or so to play more… Oh yeah, we forgot to mention that Early Access begins on October 27, 2026.

More importantly, if you buy the game in Early Access, you can help improve it as it heads toward its 1.0 release (which will include consoles, co-op, and mod support). Also, when the game is a hit, you can boast that you were an early supporter (just kidding…maybe). If EA is not for you (it is not for everyone), at least throw the game on your wishlist. Help out its visibility. Enjoy our gameplay below (the game did crash after an hour or so - we hope to upload more footage soon) and stay tuned for more coverage upon release of the game. A demo will be available to play the week before launch (October 20) during Steam Next Fest.
